The Challenge
With the house being situated at the end of a private lane it wasn’t uncommon for lost vehicles to use the customer’s driveway as an opportunity to turn around. We were set the task of providing an automatic gate solution that offered functionality as well as security.
The Solution
AUTOMATIC GATES
Working closely with the local carpenter in the village of Wrington who designed and manufactured a bespoke set of wooden gates for the customer, we were able to seamlessly tie the two installations together, ensuring that all cables were hidden and passed through the inside of the gate. It also meant that all Bircher safety equipment and Came automation devices that were fixed to the gate were done so with great precision.
INTERCOM
Any gate installation wouldn’t be complete without an intercom system, thus enabling the user to be notified of any visitors arriving at the house. The 4000 Series Videx intercom system allows the customer to have a conversation with whoever is at the gate, and then let them grant access releasing the gate at the touch of a button.
